Like most people, I was so engrossed in my career that I lost sight of looking after myself. I needed a hobby. A leaflet dropped through my door inviting people to a free short programme titled "Come and Sing". I went along and found out it was barbershop which I didn't know much about but decided to give it a try. Now some eleven years later, I am still singing with A1 Acappella and thoroughly enjoying the experience. I like singing and the camaraderie with fellow singers and to top it all, this year we actually competed abroad in the Irish National Convention. That was great fun.
