- My musical education began with piano lessons (nearly 70 years ago) so, from an early age, I was used to playing and hearing different notes played together to create harmonies. So when I was introduced to barbershop by my wife, it struck a chord in all senses. Even the most ordinary songs can be transformed by an expert barbershop arranger. The teamwork and fellowship of belonging to a chorus are an added bonus.
